Start winning.

Find you and do you.

Getting ahead in life takes serious discipline and dedication, including a few bumps in the road. Thus it should be clear that it is much easier to suffer for something that you love than for that which you do not. Therefore, the first step in succeeding in anything at all, is finding who you really are.

It may come across as clichéd but knowing who you are can save you a lot of trouble. The reason that most people do not make it far in life, or at least to their desired destination, is that they are easily thrown off track by life's daily challenges, and this is a result of not being completely certain about the path you are taking. Self-awareness gives you the ability to find your purpose and finding your purpose gives you the strength to move forward when days get dark. As I have frequently mentioned, life will never be easy. However, when we fight for what we completely and wholly believe in, things are made easier for us.

Commitment also plays big role in becoming the people that we want to be. When we commit to our purpose, we lay down every burden that life has ever placed upon us and we focus completely on making things happen. This does not mean that we will not encounter any difficulties along the way. However, when we do, we will have enough motivation to get back up and carry on working towards our goal.

So, we need to be utterly honest with ourselves; To take a while to forget about the norms of society and who we have to please so that we can focus on what pleases us. From there on, we need to commit to our passion and focus on fulfilling it.

P.S. Always remember to finish what you start because you can never tell the ending if you only went halfway.

Maintain those high standards.

Keep your expectations and standards high.

Far too often we have been told to lower our expectations in order to avoid disappointment. In other words, we are told to know what we want but we should not really want it because we face the horrible possibility of not getting it... And that is nothing short of ridiculousness. So I think that it is time that we develop a new understanding of ''expectations.''

I believe that expectations play a big role in achieving our goals; If we fully understand the desired outcomes in all of our endeavours it should not be very difficult to pursue them and we will never agree to lower our expectations.
You must be fully convinced that what you want is nothing short of everything that you dream of and you need to keep those standards high. Our expectations should push us to work harder and the only real disappointment should be failing ourselves by not pushing hard enough; not that we expected too much.

You see, instead of lowering your expectations, you need to increase the understanding of your worth. When you know what you deserve you will never settle for less. If you lower your expectations each time that you do not get what you want, you will end up being less than a tenth of who you really are.

Expectations go hand in hand with who we want to become. They are an idea of our desired destination and it should not make sense to change or lower them. If life were an experiment, expectations would be a constant. Know your worth and keep your standards high. Do not lower your expectations. Change your situation instead.
